"Intercompany", the word that I use very often and I have been using it for past one year. Intercompany is my work, is my process and is my specialisation for now. Of all it’s a WAY OF LIVING. All we have in intercompany is "zero" at end of day, we make it "zero". But Zero??? Read on.....
We have 13 different countries- although all 13 countries are considered as separate entities or companies, they are part of one organisation (Group). Receivables of one company is considered as payable of another company, and viseversa. If we look at the Organisation/Group level, the sum is absolutely "Zero".
All 13 companies were started with a loan from GROUP. Any profits from net of our receivables and payables are used to repay our loan from Group, and if its loss, our loan with group increases. So we have nothing in our hand, at end of the day. We have revenue, we have cost, we have lot of transactions, but at end of day we make it "zero", by repaying our loans.
When I look back, I can corelate Intercompany to Life - way of living.
Same way is our life, though each person is considered to be a separate individuals, at broader level, we are all part of the nature / earth / universe. We are receiving something, which is payable for somebody, or we are paying something, which is receivable for somebody else.
We have used lot of things from this nature to start our life from day 1. We are liable to nature. We are responsible to pay back our liability. Either if your earning is "positive" or "negative", we are all giving it back to nature and we have to. We are all moving with the same objective of repaying our loan.
After all primary objective of every transaction in is to profits, right?
However, The art of living is to enjoy the process of arriving at "zero". If you have not arrived at "zero" checkout, your liability is due.
Every month and month on month, I feel happy when I see "Zero" in my countries final reporting sheet. If I have not arrived at zero, then i am stuck with a problem. I have to solve them in that month to move on or can carry forward to next month by paying a cost in the form of an interest.
Once it is zero, I can close the current month and open the new month. That means new Opportunities and New challenges.
Thats the Way of Life !!! Isnt It? Rather strive paying for old problem, close it and move on to new opportunities and earn from them, and repay the loan.
For Pesonal/Proffessional success personal responsibility and descipline is very necessary from the begining.
