Looking for the answers to all the questions in my life!!!

When the life gets tougher and we coming across the same kind of problem in every step of our life, what do we feel?

We feel “Oh! God, why me again and again”

I remember reading in one of the books – Life is like a test , When you are facing same problem again and again, then it is that you are failing the test as you are not able to solve the problem correctly. Hence, you are reappearing for the same test again.

Don’t you feel that there is some logic in this?

Every time in your life, you are given a situation (case study) to analyse and solve -the case study of your own. You are required to analyse the case thoroughly and solve the problem. When you do quick fixes without analysing the problem in detail or wrongly analyse the problem, you are not qualified. You will be given another chance, hinting that your analysis is not right.

Hence the same problem repeats. You have to go through the same process again and again, until you get it right.

Take for an example, you are in a deep misery and you want to get out of it. You try solutions to get out of it, but land up in another misery of the same nature. Again you try something else to get out of it. Suddenly, one fine day you feel relieved from inside for some reason and all the miseries are vanished, like a magic. You feel good.

Haven’t you come across this situation? Think of it, I am sure you would have.

Once you get the solution right, then you qualify for the next exam. Just like you are qualified from 1 Std to 2 Std. Now the syllabus is little tougher than the previous one, hence the problem here are new and complicated.

Life goes on. But you don’t have any time frame to solve the problem. Sooner you solve the problem, more sooner you get to the next level and gain experience – you will be highly successful personnel then.

So now do you think your age give you the experience? I think it just gives the wrinkles on your face.
However, the question still remain unanswered - how to solve the problem (at the earliest)? Or else solving the problem with blindfold and with no clue of answer, most of us will remain unqualified and some might get into depression solving same kind of problem again and again.

The only person who can help you is yourself – your soul or self-consciousness. It knows everything, but will not tell you unless you poke it or provoke it.

I again remember reading a story – A man is depressed with his problems – nothing going well in personal or professional life, financially he is going down, and he has so much of loans to repay. Something is bothering him from inside. With all this, he is not able to concentrate on his girlfriend; as such he has a fight with her every now and then. But he can’t leave her as she is the only one who is helping him financially.

One after noon, he gets call from his boss asking him to pick up one of his guest from airport. He can’t refuse, as he can’t afford to lose the job. He goes to airport and meets a typical Indian. Without much of talk, he picks him and drives towards hotel. After long hours of silent drive, the Indian guy breaks it and introduces himself. Again after some more silence, the Indian again ask him if the guy has some problem. The guy gets irritated and tells him that it was none of his business.

The calm Indian, however, tells him not to worry and says that the solution to his all his problems is within himself. He asks the guy to relax on the chair/bed and do meditation. Meditation on bed? He must be crazy, the Guy thinks. The Indian continues to tell him to imagine a light/fire in his chest (where Atma/soul resides) and tell it everything that he feel like telling. "Put all your thought into it and it will take care of the rest," he says.

The guy, who had no belief in all this much, just drops the Indian at the hotel and goes back to his house. He lies back on the chair with the closed eyes, starts thinking about the Indian guy’s speech. Slowly he imagines the fire in his chest, he starts putting all thought into the fire. The fire gets bigger and bigger as it accepts the joy, the pain, and the questions of the guy. He says that he loves his girlfriend very much but she always fight with him, but the fire doesn’t accept this. He feels confused and again he says he loves her girlfriend, more than her he wants her money and also that he will initiate the fight with her. The fire accepts it, and he wonders.

Now he now understands whenever he lies to himself the fire doesn’t accept it, as it knows the truth. You can never lie to yourself.

He goes on with this activity for long time and he feels asleep until the doorbell rings after few hours. He wakes up, feeling very relaxed and light, opens the door to see his girlfriend. He feels guilt and decides to apologise her. He feels energetic, enthusiastic and self-confidence.

Self-Confidence is one such thing that can keep you going and keep you alive, and of course solve the problem.

This morning i read a quote by Margaret Mead saying “We are continually faced by great opportunities brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems...”

We have the problem and we have the solution.

Test is on. Enjoy Living :)
